The Jewish Congregation of Maui exists to not only meet the needs of the community on the Island of Maui but to be available to steady stream of visitors that come each year and desire to connect with the Jewish community here. We have numerous opportunities to show your support through several donation programs and a great volunteer corps.
Donations:
Chai 5 Club:
The saying goes, "Many hands make light work." This is true especially when it comes to this club. When we are 500 strong, we will cover a large portion of Beit Shalom's monthly operating expenses. Each member contributes $18 a month. That's it!
It is an easy and affordable way to give your support. And almost
everyone can afford $18 a month! It feels really good to be a part of insuring a light for Judaism keeps burning in the Pacific.
Tree of Life:
The Tree of Life is an on-going program where you can purchase
adornments that will beautify and sustain our Tree of Life. If you have
a special area you like to donate to, this is a great way to do that!
The goal is to have the tree filled out by the end of the year. The
tree is then presented to the congregation at Rosh Hashanah.

Pomegranates: $1,000

Kiddush Sponsor:
If you have a special date to commemorate, such as a birthday or yahrzeit, or you would like to honor someone in the community, this is a great way to do so. Please call the office for more information.
Volunteer Opportunities:
We have many volunteer opportunities at the synagogue. Our corps of volunteers are essential to the life of our community.
